KELSEY'S ROLE
Kelsey designed and implemented the audiovisual and event technology for Oxford Economics at the Fontainebleau, Miami Beach. She developed a customized proposal featuring a flown setup with state-of-the-art equipment, providing versatility for a general session and afternoon Q&A, followed by an impressive reception in the evening.
Oxford Economics is a leading global economic advisory firm, providing data-driven insights and forecasts to help clients navigate complex economic landscapes.
THE VIBE
This is an annual event where Oxford Economics brings together economic and industry experts to discuss major economic outlooks and trends. The conference was held at the Fontainebleau’s Coastal center and included discussions on the global economy, regional outlooks, and the US economy.
RIGGING
For an event of this size and caliber, Kelsey developed a comprehensive rigging plan featuring flown 9’ x 16’ screens with 13,000-lumen projectors, rigged moving Leiko lights, and state-of-the-art stacked speakers.
SCENIC DESIGN
To add character to the stage, we installed Stiler panels as a scenic backdrop for the panels and general session. The design, inspired by their checkered globe logo, features distinctive shapes and textures. The setup is enhanced with AC Color Force uplighting in their signature blue, creating a cohesive and visually engaging environment.
PARTY TIME
The space was transformed for their closing reception, using moving lights to create a vibrant atmosphere. We provided full support for the live band with microphones and power, as well as for the DJ booth and audio system. The event was so successful that attendees stayed until 2 a.m.
BREAKOUTS
Between the main sessions, Kelsey managed eight breakout rooms designed for smaller general sessions, Q&A’s, and team huddles. Each room was fully equipped with projectors, screens, and sound systems, supported by a dedicated team of on-site technicians. No aspect of the event was too small for Kelsey’s meticulous execution.
FULL TEAM
Given the high-level details of this event, Kelsey ensured a full team was on site to maintain the smooth flow of the program. The team included a project manager, rigging specialists, a camera operator, and numerous audio and video technicians. Regardless of any last-minute changes that arose, the team was prepared to adapt quickly and keep the event running successfully.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Once the planning process was complete and the order was handed over to Kelsey’s operations team, she spent the day monitoring progress and making last-minute adjustments to ensure the client’s vision was fully realized. From setup to execution, Kelsey closely oversaw the Oxford Economics Forum as it came to life. Since then, Oxford has rebooked, and she looks forward to collaborating with the Oxford team again soon!
